Preparing for Your Remote Appointment

Once you have ensured compatibility and downloaded the required app, you are all set for your first remote appointment. To get started, simply reach out to Hears to U, Hearing & Hearables or your Hearing Hearing Care Clinic near you and let us/them know you’d like to schedule a telehealth visit. Your clinician will take the lead in initiating the Live Assistance call.

When you have your remote appointment scheduled

Upon the start of the session, tap the Smart 3D icon to activate the video connection. This will enable you to see your audiologist or Hearing Instrument Dispenser on the screen.  Share your experiences and your subjective perceptions and away the Hearing Care Professional will start. During adjustments, your Hearing Care Professionals voice will come through your phone, not your hearing aids, ensuring a clear and seamless experience. A progress bar will keep you informed about updates to your hearing aids. Once the session concludes, your hearing aids will automatically reboot, and you can tap “close” to enjoy your improved hearing.
