Returns, Refunds, & Exchanges

At Hears Hearing & Hearables, we strive to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied, our return and refund policy is designed to help you return your items easily.

Return Policy


We issue refunds for purchases within 14 days of the original purchase date. Items must be returned in the same condition as received and undamaged. The refund will be for the price of the item minus shipping costs, a $10.00 restocking fee, and credit card processing fees at 3%.

What is Returnable?

  • Returns are accepted for products with all original packaging within 14 days of the original purchase date.
  • Over-the-Counter Hearing Aids have a 45-day return policy.
  • Hearing aids are refundable up to 45 days according to Minnesota state law. Please read more details in our Terms and Conditions.

Non-returnable/Non-refundable Items

  • Supplies such as tips, receivers, and other hearing aid supplies are non-returnable and non-refundable unless we made a mistake.
  • Used products in our consignment store are not returnable.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the order is canceled before shipping.
  • Service fees are non-refundable.

Return Instructions

  • Eligibility: You have 14 calendar days to return an item you purchased (from the date you received it). To be eligible for a return, your item must be in good condition and in the original packaging. Note that OTC & Prescription hearing aids have a 45-day return policy.

Refund Process

  • Log In: Log in to your account and go to the ‘My Account’ page.
  • Request Refund: Click on ‘Orders’ and then click the ‘Request Refund’ button for the order you need a refund for.
  • Notification: Once we receive your item, we will notify you.
  • Inspection: After inspecting the item, we will notify you of the status of your refund.
  • Approval: If your return is approved, we will initiate an immediate refund to your credit card (or original method of payment), minus a $10 restocking fee, a 3% processing fee, and any non-refundable shipping fees.

Shipping Cost

  • You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.
