Proper care and maintenance of your hearing aid accessories are crucial to ensure they function optimally and last longer. Here are some essential tips on how to take care of your hearing aid accessories:

• Remote Microphones and Streamers: Wipe down with a soft, dry cloth to remove any dust or dirt. Avoid using water or cleaning solutions as they can damage electronic components.
• Charging Stations: Ensure the contacts are clean and free of debris. Use a dry cloth to wipe the exterior and gently clean the charging ports with a soft brush if necessary.  We also recommend a drop of de-oxide on a cotton tip and wipe the contacts on both the aids and the charger.  We understand you may also use an eraser to rub on the contacts.
• Remote Controls: Use a dry or slightly damp cloth to wipe the exterior. Avoid getting moisture into the buttons or battery compartment.  Make sure you have a fresh battery before you head out of town.
• TV Connectors and Bluetooth Adapters: Keep these accessories free of dust by wiping them with a dry cloth. Ensure that any vents or ports are clear of obstructions.  Keep the ports clean and dry.
