At Hears Hearing & Hearables, we believe in Accessibility, Affordability, and Transparency. That’s why we’re pleased to offer Widex Remote Care—a convenient way to get adjustments, support, and troubleshooting without needing to visit a clinic. With Widex’s remote services, you can connect directly with a hearing professional from the comfort of your home.

To enable this connection, Widex requires a special device called the Remote Link. This accessory pairs with your hearing aids and smartphone, allowing your provider to make live adjustments over a secure telehealth session. If you don’t already own a Remote Link, we can help you get one.

Easy to Start A Session

Disclosure:  Once you have everything in place!  ha 

  • Wear the Remote Link around your neck.
  • Open the Remote Care app and select “Join Meeting.”

 

Once connected, your hearing care provider will be able to:

  • Adjust amplification or fine-tune your hearing aid programs
  • Reduce feedback or unwanted noise
  • Add, remove, or modify listening environments
  • Monitor performance and even detect if your aids may need repair

 

After adjustments are complete, your provider will end the session to ensure all changes are saved properly.

Note: Not all hearing aids support teleaudiology. Typically, hearing aids with Bluetooth capability and app connectivity are eligible for remote services. If your device isn’t telehealth-ready, we’re still happy to assist via repair servcies!
