  • Limited Sound Quality – Without a proper fitting and adjustments, your hearing aid may not perform as expected.
  • No Hands-On Support – Fine-tuning and troubleshooting are easier in person with a local provider.

 

We offer telehealth fittings to help you get the best possible outcome, but this is not “best practice”.  This fee will be automatically added to your cart.  You may not remove it unless you can prove that you have a licensed provider that will fit these on you.  If you do have a provider, we can refund you this fee upon proof.

For optimal results, we recommend visiting a local provider for a proper fit and sound adjustment.

*To Demo a Hearing Aid these are the Requirements

  1. Serious commitment to seeking hearing assistance.
  2. Membership is mandatory.

More on the Process:

  1. Select 2 or 3 potential hearing aids
  2. Provide audiogram and ear photos.
  3. Share your ear and hearing history via email or phone.
  4. Receive a demo via priority mail.
  5. Receive guidance on usage and expectations upon receiving the hearing aid. Return within two weeks.
  6. Discuss likes and dislikes about the experience and hearing aid comparison.
  7. Option to try another demo.

More Transparency on Costs:

  • Demo fees credited towards hearing aid purchase, minus $200 for experience, shipping, handling, and program fee.

Post-Selection:

  • Once you’ve chosen a hearing aid, we’ll assist you in finding a local clinic for ongoing support (services sold separately).

  • Before proceeding with our services, we must ascertain your proficiency in technology (“Tech Savvy”) and confirm our ability to collaborate with you in your respective state or ensure the availability of a local audiologist to assist. If we encounter any impediments during this process resulting in its inability to be completed, please note that returns will not be accepted. These Rexton hearing aids have a lot of technology in them and are similar to Signia Styletto AX hearing aids. They have two chips for listening in noise and in quiet.  One chip helps manage the noise.  It has acoustic motion detectors, Own Voice features, extended high-frequency bandwidth, and a great little app.  Also streams to iPhone and Android phones. This aid does not have any buttons on the hearing aid.   However, with a good fit and a good sound you don't really need to be pushing buttons and you can always use your app to make any changes.

  • Audéo L-RL = waterproof, no telecoil, comes with upgraded charger
All three of the RICs come with an IP68 rating. The Audéo L-RL has additional features, such as the absence of charging contacts, that help improve its resistance to moisture. An IP68 rating means these aids should withstand dust, dirt, and sand, and are resistant to submersion up to a maximum depth of 1.5m (about 5 ft) underwater for up to 30 minutes (but we don’t recommend trying this!).
