“Open box” typically refers to a product that has been previously purchased and returned by a customer, but is being resold by the retailer at a discounted price. These items are usually in a like-new condition, as they have not been used for an extended period or have any significant damage.

The term “open box” indicates that the product’s original packaging has been opened or is not in pristine, sealed condition, which can be due to various reasons, including the following:

1. Customer returns: A customer may have purchased the product, opened the packaging, and then decided to return it for various reasons, such as a change of mind, a minor defect, or not meeting their expectations.

2. Display or demo units: Some open-box items may have been used as display or demo units in a retail store. These products are often in excellent condition but may have some wear from being handled by customers.

When you buy an open-box item, you can typically expect to receive the product itself in good working condition, along with any included accessories or manuals. We check the hearing aid over, sterilize in our machine;  we recommend you also check the item thoroughly and understand the retailer’s return policy, as it may differ from that of new, sealed products. Open-box items are often sold at a discounted price compared to their brand-new counterparts, making them a more affordable option for consumers.
