At Hears Hearing & Hearables, we strive to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied, our return and refund policy is designed to help you return your items easily.
Return Policy
Refunds
We issue refunds for purchases within 14 days of the original purchase date, unless otherwise required by applicable state law.
Items must be returned in the same condition as received and undamaged. Approved refunds will be issued for the purchase price of the item minus shipping costs, a $10.00 restocking fee, and a non-refundable credit card processing fee of 3%.
If an order is canceled or refunded after payment has been processed, the 3% credit card processing fee will be retained to cover non-recoverable transaction costs charged by our payment processor.
Hearing aids have a separate restocking fee and return timeline in accordance with state law.
What Is Returnable?
- Returns are accepted for products with all original packaging within 14 days of the original purchase date.
- Over-the-Counter Hearing Aids have a 45-day return policy.
- Hearing aids are refundable up to 45 days according to Minnesota state law.
- Restocking fees of $100 per hearing aid apply in Minnesota.
- Restocking fees will apply according to state laws where hearing aids were dispensed. Please read more details in our Terms and Conditions.
Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items
- Supplies such as tips, receivers, and other hearing aid supplies are non-returnable and non-refundable, unless we made a mistake.
- Used products and open-box items from our consignment store are final sale.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the order is canceled before shipment.
- Service fees are non-refundable.
- Credit card processing fees (3%) are non-refundable once payment has been processed.
Return Instructions
Eligibility:
You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible, items must be unused, in good condition, and in original packaging. OTC and prescription hearing aids follow a 45-day return policy.

Refund Process
- Log In: Log in to your account and go to the My Account page.
- Request Refund: Click Orders and then Request Refund for the applicable order.
- Notification: Once we receive your item, we will notify you.
- Inspection: Returned items are inspected upon receipt.
- Approval: If approved, a refund will be issued to the original payment method minus the $10 restocking fee, the 3% credit card processing fee, and any non-refundable shipping charges.
