Prescription Hearing Aids: A Medical Device Requiring Professional Care
Prescription hearing aids are classified as medical devices and must be dispensed by a licensed provider to ensure proper fitting, programming, and patient care. Dispensing a hearing aid involves more than just selling the device—it includes a professional assessment, precise programming to match your hearing needs, verification of sound quality, and ongoing support to ensure the best possible hearing experience.
This fee includes a fitting a one follow up with your provider. Your provider will be in touch with you to review this order.
When your provider calls, you will need to verify that you have had a current hearing test, within the last 6 months.
Thank you.
